Company History

1962

Noboru Takizawa branched off from Kansai Electrical Product instrument section, and established Kinki Instruments Corporation.

The company started with 3,500,000 yen in capital and 12 people as Noboru Nishigaki, Fujisuke Hamanishi for sales, Masaru Takemura for general affairs and accounting, Kenichi Nakamura for engineering and others.
Head office building completed in Hirano-ku, Osaka.

1973

Main Offices completed in Hirano-ku, Osaka.

1978

Increased capital to 30,000,000 yen. Osaka Small and Medium Business Investment & Consultation Co., Ltd. Invested in the company.

1980

Increased capital to 37,500,000 yen.

Opened a satellite office in Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo.

1982

Opened satellite offices in Fukuoka and Sendai.

1983

Promoted Tokyo satellite office to sales office.

Awarded 'Shibusawa Prize' for the power system fluctuation recording device.Awards
Received ≪the Shibusawa Award≫ for the systemic motion recorder.

1984

Promoted Fukuoka satellite office to sales office.

1985

Changed company name to Kinkei System Corporation.

1986

Increased capital to 84,370,000 yen.

1988

Completed Nanko factory in Suminoe-ku, Osaka.

Established Kinkei Service Corporation (100%-owned).

Awarded 'Ohm Technology Prize' for the artificial ground fault test device(DM-1000).Awards

Issued 'Automatic oscillograph reader'. (supervised by Chikasa Uenosono, professor emeritus at Kyoto University)

1990

Promoted Sendai satellite office to sales office.

Received a letter of gratitude from Kyoto University for contributions to the investigation research about Philippine earthquake.Award

Received a letter of gratitude from Matsumae-cho, Hokkaido for contributions to promoting disaster prevention after the Hokkaido‐Nansei‐Oki Earthquake.Awards

Promoted Tokyo sales office to branch office.

Awarded 'The Medium and Small Business Research Institute Prize' for business performance as leading maker of automatic oscillographs.Awards

Awarded 'The Small and Medium Enterprise Agency Secretary prize' for the digital voltage-current phase difference meter (PHA-100).Awards
Received ≪Director-General's Award of Small and Medium Enterprise Agency≫ for digital voltage/current phase meter (PHA-100).

2002

Relocated our main office to Nanko, Suminoe-ku, Osaka, joining both the headquarters and the factory.
Head office relocated to Nanko, Suminoe-ku, Osaka to consolidate head office functions.

Awarded 'The Promotion Foundation for Electrical Science and Engineering Prize' for the NW fault locator system.Awards

The 50 years anniversary of the founding of Kinkei System Corp.

Awarded second grand prize of 'Intellectual Property Honoring Business' in Osaka for the ultra low-power-consumption type data logger for earthquake observation, which is developed jointly with Kyoto University.Awards

Created Kinkei System 10 years vision program.

2018

Became a member of 'Kansai SDGs platform'.

Selected as 'The Driving Company for the regional future' by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
